TubeGrid Privacy Policy
Operator: Coderious Sàrl
Last updated: 17 March 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and what choices you have when you use TubeGrid at https://tubegrid.coderious.com.
1. Who we are
TubeGrid is operated by Coderious Sàrl ("we", "us" or "our"). We are responsible for deciding how your personal information is used for TubeGrid.
Contact email: coderious@coderious.com
2. What information we collect
- Account and sign-in information. If you sign in or connect a Google/YouTube account, we may receive basic account information such as your name, email address, Google account identifier, and authentication-related information needed to keep you signed in and operate the service.
- TubeGrid preferences and settings. We may store account-linked preferences such as tracked channels, channel order, and similar settings used to personalise the app. TubeGrid may also store some settings locally in your browser, such as channel order saved in local storage.
- Information you send to us directly. If you contact us, we may receive your name, email address, and the contents of your message.
- Technical and usage information. Our hosting and infrastructure providers may automatically process limited technical data such as IP address, browser or device information, request logs, and basic diagnostic information needed to deliver, maintain, and secure the service.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information, such as health information, religious beliefs, or biometric data.
3. How we use your information
- to authenticate you and operate TubeGrid;
- to show and manage the YouTube-related features you choose to use;
- to store your preferences and keep the service working as expected;
- to maintain security, detect abuse, troubleshoot issues, and improve reliability;
- to respond to questions, support requests, or legal requests where required.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not currently use your personal information for advertising profiles or marketing emails.
4. Legal basis for users in the UK, EEA and Switzerland
Where UK GDPR, EU GDPR, or similar laws apply, we process personal information mainly on the basis of our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving TubeGrid, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights and freedoms.
These legitimate interests include authenticating users, saving preferences, maintaining service security, preventing misuse, debugging technical issues, and responding to support or administrative matters.
If we rely on a different legal basis for a specific activity in the future, for example consent for optional analytics or marketing, we will say so clearly at that time.
5. Google and YouTube data
If you choose to sign in with Google or connect TubeGrid to YouTube-related functionality, we receive certain information from Google in order to provide the service. We use that information only for the features you request and for the purposes described in this policy.
Our use of information received from Google APIs is subject to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
You can also revoke TubeGrid's access to your Google account through your Google account permissions settings. If you ask us to delete data we have stored for your TubeGrid account, we will delete or anonymise it within a reasonable period, subject to any limited retention we may need for security or legal reasons.
7. International transfers
TubeGrid uses service providers that may process personal information in more than one country. We currently expect account preference data to be hosted in Europe, while some authentication and infrastructure processing may take place in the United States or other countries used by our service providers.
When personal information is transferred internationally, we rely on the safeguards made available through our providers and applicable law, such as contractual protections or recognised adequacy mechanisms where available.
8. How long we keep information
We keep personal information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy.
- Account-related information and saved preferences are generally kept while your TubeGrid account remains active.
- If you ask us to delete your account or if an account is no longer needed, we will delete or anonymise the relevant personal information within a reasonable period, except where limited retention is needed for security, backup, dispute resolution, or legal reasons.
- Technical logs are kept only for as long as reasonably necessary for security, troubleshooting, and service reliability.
Because some data may remain temporarily in provider backups, deletion may not be instantaneous, but we will stop using that data for active purposes once deletion is requested and processed.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information. No internet service can promise absolute security, so you use TubeGrid at your own risk and should keep your own devices and accounts secure as well.
10. Children
TubeGrid is not directed specifically at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information to TubeGrid in a way that should not have happened, please contact us and we will review and remove it where appropriate.
11. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights that include access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, restriction, objection, or data portability.
You may also request that we delete personal information associated with your TubeGrid account. To make a privacy request, contact us at coderious@coderious.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on the request.
If you are in the UK, EEA, or Switzerland and believe we have handled your personal information unlawfully, you may also complain to the relevant data protection authority.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we will update the date at the top of this policy and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
